Luxury Fades, Protection Doesn’t
XPEL sought to establish a strong marine presence that reflected its road dominance. From 2022 to 2024, we designed targeted ads aimed at yacht captains and crews who value both luxury and performance. These ads promoted not just coatings and films, but a lifestyle, raw, minimal, and compelling, inviting the protection of vessels built for adventure.

Overview
Luxury yachts and performance boats face the same reality as supercars: exposure, damage, and wear that kills the thrill. The goal was clear: position XPEL as the protection brand that luxury marine owners can't sail without.
Over the course of three years, we developed a system of magazine spreads that paired bold typography with striking marine imagery. Each layout balanced minimalism with intent, turning open water into a stage and every headline into a challenge. Whether it's a yacht, sailboat, or jet ski, the message was universal: protection isn't optional, it's essential.

The Challenge
Breaking into the marine sector meant cutting through tradition. The audience wasn't casual; it consisted of captains, owners, and crews who already invested heavily in performance and perfection. The ads had to speak their language: confidence, clarity, and control. Every spread needed to balance luxury with edge, turning stock imagery into bold statements without losing authority or trust.

The Solution
We built a campaign system as fluid as the sea itself. Each ad was stripped to essentials: clean photography, commanding typography, and a direct tagline that cut through pretense. Stock imagery evolved into stage design, carefully edited and manipulated to convey the weight of XPEL's marine presence.
The messaging was designed to be disruptive, pushing protection not as an afterthought, but as the anchor for every vessel. From yachts cruising at sunset to jet skis carving bays, the spreads elevated XPEL's marine line to the same league as its automotive dominance.
